Trevor Griffiths stepped up to the plate on the opening day with a 40 point romp at Northop Hall wihich will see him drop 1 shot on his Handicap. Trevor made up for the fact that he didnt score on three holes by scoring three 4 pointers. Andy Carmichael pushed Trevor all the way but with no points scored on the 18th this would prove costly. This is the first time Trevor has won a summer event in just over a year and with the usual suspects failing to deliver maybe this season will see a new host of future winners.
The longest drive was taken by ian pugh whilst Leigh Robertson took nearest the pin and Ted Pugh the two's comp. appologies fot the late report, ive been having laptop/internet problems. Normal service should now resume................
