Stevie "The Bandito" Birrell !!!

It might of taken Stevie Birrell three attempts to win this season but that wasn't for lack of trying. With rounds of 41 and 38 points in his first two fixtures it was just a matter of time before he posted a wining score.
With nine pars and two birdies Stevie (pictured left) posted an impressive 40 points which saw him finish seven shots clear of his nearest competitor Tony Southern.
But great scores like this come at a price and Steve will now be teeing it up in his next competition with a single figure handicap of 9. Well done Steve!
Today's nearest the pin came at the well guarded par 3 7th hole with only Gary Bennett finding the green.
The longest drive was claimed by Stevie Birrell with a great tee shot down the 417 yard 17th hole.
