The Winter League 2007 explained

This years winter league comprises of two main competitions, "the players championship" and " the doubles knock-out cup".

The players championship: Points are accumulated each time a player finishes within the top ten places at a competition. First Place receiving 10 points whilst tenth place would give you 1 point. At The end off the winter league the four players with the most points will play off for the players championship trophy.

The doubles knock-out cup: At the first event you will be randomly drawn a partner. The pairings will then be put into the hat and drawn against each other. The format for the competition is knock-out matchplay.

All Handicaps for the winter league will be fixed. The 2007 review has now been completed and you can find your start handicap for 2008 by clicking on the handicap amendment page on the right hand side of this blog.
