Richie Jones has come from nowhere this season to 4th place on the championship leader board in a matter of five games. And although his handicap has suffered along the way Richie continued his relentless form with a second win of the season at Skipton GC on Sunday. Stevie Sutton Had held the Early lead in the clubhouse with a round of 37 points on a difficult parkland course. However Richie Birdied the the par 5 16th hole and picked up a further 4 points on 17 and 18 the clinch victory by one stroke. Richie will now battle it out with Andy Carmichael and Stevie Sutton at Kirkby for a place in the top four. Longest drive on the day was won by who else but Stevie Birrell whilst captain Leigh Robertson took nearest the pin.
