As you well know this years Captain Tony Southern was due to take up his new role this Sunday at Garstang GC. However Tony injured his Achilles heel whilst on the Costa Del Sol and will now be out of action for up to 12 weeks. 
Tony has therefor stepped down as captain for 2009 and will take the vice Captains role in 2010.
This means Leigh (pictured right) will now take over as this year's captain and David (left) will become his vice. We all wish Tony a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action in the very near future!
