Derek Hits Form!

James Barwise stayed top of the winter league on Sunday with a third place finish at Fiddlers Ferry . James posted another Great score but was unable to take top spot for a third successive competition.

Derek Bell (Pictured left) was the man in form and confirmed his three shot victory with 10 points in the last three holes. The highlight of Derek's 40 points came at the par 4 second hole were a bad tee shot had left him 30 yards short of the green in four. Derek played a low pitch and run with an 8 iron which made its way up the green and found the bottom of the cup to save a bogey five and two points. After that Derek never looked back picking up 18 points on the front nine and a further 22 on the back.

The Two's competition was won by frank Reagan with a precise tee shot to the tough par 3 10th hole. Full results for the day are below.
