Stevie Birrell (pictured left) capped a fantastic year today by taking the players championship crown.He teed it up with Tony, Chris and Leigh in a winner takes all final at fishwick G.C.
the outcome seemed fitting as Stevie has dominated throughout the season winning two competitions and getting his handicap down to single figures along the way.
After his round Steve commented " I played ok, not a bad year really!"
