It was Frank Reagan (pictured left) who made the most of the glorious conditions with a great round of 35 points.
The long tight fairways and undulating greens meant that scoring was kept low yet walking off the 18th, frank had opened up a four shot lead on the chasing pack.
He eventually went on to win by three stokes and later commented "it could of been more had Ted not given me whiplash when he crashed the buggy on the 6th!".
Along with pars at stroke index 2 & 3 frank added a further five to complete a more than satisfactory round.
Meanwhile the longest drive was won by Stevie Bristow and for the first time this season all 13 golfers failed to hit the green on the designated nearest the pin hole.
Next up is the winter league, Fixtures will be posted soon.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved with the society and we hope to see you all through the winter months.
