After gaining a place in this years winter league playoff final, Leigh "Bandito" Robertson (pictured left) became it's first winner with a hard fought round at brackenwood.Leigh reached the final after himself and Stevie Birrell were tied for 4th place in the winter league table. The only thing separating the pair being a stableford countback of the entire winter season which Leigh gratefully won.
Although pushed hard by Gary Bennett Leigh always seemed to have the edge and eventually pulled clear to win by 5 strokes.
Afterwards Leigh commented "My handicap won't go down will it?"
