In a round which saw stevie Birrell pick up 11 pars and 1 birdie he must of thought he'd done enough to win on the opening day of the summer season. But on a boggy day at arrowe park Chris Hallam had other ideas, Chris carded an unbeatable 44 points picking up six pars along the way.Its exactly one year since Chris joined the society and i think it goes without saying that he thoroughly deserves his first win in the summer league.
Paul Burton won the nearest the pin with accurate 7 iron into the par 3 15th hole whilst Ian Pugh claimed the longest drive on the 18th.
