David's back nine blitz at bowring!

Walking off the 18th green at Bowring Park Gary Bennett had accumulated another fantastic score of 37 points and was looking good for his third successive winter league win.
Stood on the 10th tee David Bristow was looking out of contention after scoring only 14 points on the outward nine. Little did he know he would go on to shoot an astonishing 24 points in 9 holes, just enough to pip Gary Bennett to the post.
This was Davids first winter league victory and highest score so far this year.
