Ian edges it at Chirk.

Ian Pugh (pictured left) won his third successive winter event on Sunday scoring 36 points on an overcast day at Chirk in North Wales. Despite the recent weather the course was in great condition and only a few showers hampered the day. Another great winter turnout saw 12 players make the trip for our third event of the winter season.
The shot of the day by all accounts came at the par 4 6th hole were Gary Bennett chipped in from a green side bunker for a birdie and 4 points. The full results for the day are as follows: Ian Pugh 36 points, Paul Burton 33 points, Ste Birrell 30 points, David Bristow 27 points, Leigh Robertson 26 points, Tony Southern 26 points, Ste Sutton 25 points, Frank Reagan 25 points, Gary Bennett 25 points, Chris Hallam 24 points, Steve Bristow 23 points, Ted Pugh 20 points.
