Regent Park was the location of today's game and after 18 holes nothing could separate brothers frank and Mal Reagan AKA "The Chuckle Brothers"(pictured left) with 37 points each. Early leader Stevie Birrell had a great start racing to 23 points after just nine holes but failed to make amends on the back nine finishing one shot back on 36 points. So yet again the day would be decided with another card count back. After a tense debate it was decided frank would claim his second victory of the season having scored two more points than Mal on the back nine. The longest Drive was won by Trevor Griffiths whilst Stevie Birrell had the cancellation of winning the nearest the pin trophy. The two's comp was won By Ian Pugh on the 6th.I would also like to welcome Tony to the Phoenix, we hope to see more of him in the future. Are next game takes place at the Beacon Park in Upholland on Sat the 18th of august. I am on holiday but will update the web page as soon as i get back! Good Luck to all involved!

again the twos comp was won by ian! so whilst myself & james where having a general chat wanderering around the delightful course this afternoon it was bought up that ian should from this day foward be excluded from entering the twos 'ian' competition!! so all those in favour say i:

Unlucky to Steve Birrell ( right good player) who threw it away,Ian who nearly won it when only getting 4 shots from the course and Mal. The lead changed hands alot over the back nine, it was from me to you and you to me. Mal and I had a bit of a chuckle about it on the way home.
